John, re: CRUS still has not learned to get publicity or perhaps there are no accomplishments to get publicity about. I can't disagree altogether, but I would like to point out that CRUS got the 1998 Electronic Design News Innovation of the Year for their 3CI chip and the front cover of another big EE design magazine (the name escapes me right now) for their power-meter-on-a-chip design. I think Dave French knows much better how to get publicity than Hackworth did. Or maybe he has more credibility. Regards, G.P.
