"Is the os controlling traffic on Elon's network made by Wind or is it home brewed?"

I don't know but your comment "home brewed" caught my eye. When reading up on WIND yesterday one of the statements from them said that their #1 'competition' was basically that.. "home brewed" work done in house. What they believed to be their #1 asset was that they drastically reduced the time to market compared to 'home brewed' systems. And of course time means big money. Both in terms of development time and expense but even more importantly in lost marketing/sales dollars as your competitor gets their product out the door faster.

Of course it didn't hurt that WIND and their closest competitor merged just a few days ago. It was this merger and WIND's new firmly established (true? still checking this out) #1 position in the market place that caught my eye. And being a software play... well .. we know what that means.. potential Gorilla game!
