i'm not sure i want to see LU buy JDSU. JDSU is growing very fast and i'd like to take part in that rise. I could be mistaken, but i can't imagine that it would rise at the same rate if LU bought it.

yes, i'm greedy. I want my JDSU shares to continue shooting to the moon.

ps. I am long LU for the record.

Steve-
Right now I don't know a lot of the specifics. I'm hoping the meeting today will clear that up a little. I believe they said yesterday that 10% of bell labs would be going w/ the new company.
When AT&T spun off Lucent, people said that lucent was dragging AT&T down and the new company would not do that well. Time has proven those people wrong. I believe this is the same for company X. I'm excited about this change. This is the best thing to do for both companies.
