I fail to see why you have a need to be so insulting. Yes, in my years of working at Borland/Inprise, I was constantly amazed at the overwhelming loyalty that programmers had to Borland products. That doesn't make them twits. Geeks do not necessarily make good business people but if there weren't any Geeks then there wouldn't be any software. Since I am in the software business and have made an excellent living at it, I say: God bless the Geeks!

You are right about one thing and that is that I would imagine that none of us on this board have enough shares to stop this merger. But I would warn you tarsvp?there are some powerful shareholders that do not like this deal either.

Where you are DEAD wrong is in you praise for the Fuller-brush-guy. He single handedly destroyed the company so that ONLY a merger would bail his specially accelerated stock options out so he can buy another pale blue Porsche.

I can tell you from very personally experience that he is pathological liar, a bully, and an utterly incompetent manager completely out of his league as a CEO of a $185 million software company. Del the Yolk-Dude was 10x the CEO DF is (DF also stands for Dumb FXXX - that is what most of the employees call him) even though he (Del) also did not understand the software business.

One good thing about this buy-out is that it promises to get DF out of the way. There are other good things that could happen. Stay tuned to next week.
