AMD signed a contract with CSCO yesterday to supply Flash memory over a period of several years. This is a good thing for AMD. They have a $1.5 Billion Fab sitting idle because of lack of demand for their Athlon processors. I see this Flash deal as a way for AMD to maintain profitability. For that reason I am holding on to my AMD long position. I bought those shares with the premiums from the AMD puts I've sold so I have nothing in it from out of pocket. I also sell CCs on those shares to so why bailout now?

I notice that AMD is once again doing a swan drive into that porcelain pool today while Intel is up again, keeping with the 20+ year trend.
