From Clearstation thread......EMKR has done a moonshot lately, but it's largely because it's been so underdiscovered for so long. it made up 2 years worth of movement in just a couple days last week ... but it's still pretty unknown. company makes very sophisticated compound semiconductors and other components for satellites and fiber optic transmission equipment.... much of the runup this week was due to quiet announcement of a JV with JDS Uniphase and a supply agreement with Agilent... average daily volume of 230k is low ... 14.4mm shares outstanding... company is estimated to turn corner to profitability in the next year... growth rate is phenomenal (+100%)... doesn't have any large mutual fund ownership yet, according to EDGAR filings ... on a forward P/E basis it seems cheap even at 150 ...
