SAN DIEGO LUNCH ALERT!!!

The Coronado Hotel Catering people just called and gave me a "SCU", (something came up) followed by a "GWH" (Guess what happened), and informed me that "mistakes were made", and that our deal to have the lunch there was now "inoperative". They did not have a meeting room for us. They had booked us into a public restaurant rather than a private one, we could not speak there, the lady who made the deal with me was no longer employed, etc, etc, etc.

Using my fantastic San Diego contacts, (my daughter, who lives there,) I was able to find a great alternative. The Meeting will be at the "Napa Valley Grill" in their private luncheon room that will seat up to 50. My daughter has has lunch there many times and says the food was excellent. It is located at 502 Horton Plaza, San Diego. Phone # is 619-236-9649. The Manager is Jessica. That is on the 5th floor of the Horton Plaza Mall. They suggest we park on the 6th floor. It is 4 blocks from our morning meeting with Qualcomm. Here is a map of the two places

I told them we would be there around 12, and would be there for the afternoon. They have about 4 Entrees to choose from. Lunch, with coffee, tea, or soft drink, tax & tip, is $32.30. (I will eat the thirty cents.) :0)

I apologize to everyone for the inconvenience. This is my fault. I should have followed up closer with the catering people at the Hotel. I was not impressed with them to start with, and I should have monitored them much more closely.
