Dan, Irid never worked and McCaw isn't the magic bullet. The only thing he ever did right was sell to T and build NXLK. His other ventures rely on antique technology the same as Irid. Too much money, not enough brains. If you have seen the ads for GSTRF you probably noticed they are talking about cell/sat service. About 80 percent of the US will never have cell because of low density population but your sat phone/cell phone will work. There are area in NYC that don't have cell but the sat feature will roam and take you back to cell when it's available. This system isn't about phone calls for people that earn $300 a year, it's for people that want or need to be in touch. Cosmo
