Dear Yeng and all,

I have just registered but have been reading hundreds of posts so far. I am a holder of COMS since december and staying in. (bought some more today (too expensive)).

Markets are perfect but sometimes temporarily not. I believe that this discrepancy will be smoothed out over the next few trading days as investors get to their senses. The question is of course will the PALM valuation hold (at approx. 1000 times earnings it does not have the advantage of a .com firm where you cannot calculate anything).

The ratio 1:1.5 must be about right.

What I find amazing that all you COMS holders (or are you guys just speculating for a few bucks short time???) dismiss the COMS minus PALM as possibly a nothing.

We are talking here about a firm making approx. $ 400M profit of which only $ 30M PALM; making GREAT products but maybe temporarily stalled in development. This is not a blown up negative profit Internet startup. This is real nuts and bolts.... (etc etc)Have you ever used their network cards e.g., they always work!

I figure (on the back of an envelope) that with losing 10% of the profit, the P/E might now be approx. 60. Without PALM I think a P/E of 30 is reasonable (conservative, because they will take off again plus they have some money to burn/invest now) which brings value of 'bare' COMS to minimum $ 40/share.

Anyway I am holding until the sharks of Wall Street have stopped sqeezing.
