Today was the first day I saw gas stations closed due to lack of gas. Don't know whether they are actually out but they've jumped about 10-15 cents in the last 2-3 weeks and I suspect people have started to top off tanks more frequently. At this rate, they'll easily be 2 bucks by Memorial Day.

Looks like the market couldn't absorb the COMS/PALM deal. It doesn't look good for the current PALM holders when they spin off the rest of the PALM shares in about two months.

heinz,

What an erudite reply -- and I do not mean that in a patronizing way. I take the simpler view that the producers will find it politically expediant to not squeeze too hard.

I do not know the market as well as you and I take the simpler view that a contrarian posture tells one when to really pay attention to the charts.

I think the top is upon us. Of course, I would not sell the market until it's confirmed on the chart, but it will be very soon IMO.

If I'm wrong it would surprise me the least of all :)
