According to Frank Wells, chairman of Solars: "The agreements are a major step forward in further validating Solarnet's products within the wholesale leisure travel industry. Kemwel Holiday Autos, a major participant in the car rental industry, attests to Solars' value in yet another leisure travel market. Cook Island Holidays, further emphasizes Canada's acceptance of the Solarnet solution." Kemwel Holiday Autos is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Holiday Autos Group headquartered in Surrey, England. It was founded in 1987 and is rated as Europe's number one car rental company in the leisure market and is the world's largest leisure car rental broker with over 4,000 locations in 60 countries. Kemwel, based in Harrison, N.Y., was founded in 1908 and became a division of the Holiday Autos Group when it acquired 100 per cent of its shares in 1999. Kemwel Holiday Autos' director of marketing, Tammy Persetty stated: "We are excited to have the opportunity to be the first car vendor to take advantage of the Solarnet system.
