OT; USB & Win 95

Its a lottery whether it will work but the odds are it wont. Many Win95 systems were shipped with USB ports but no USB driver software, and I read a week or two ago that some were even shipped with no physical connection between the motherboard and the USB ports!

As a minimum you need Win 95 Release 2 (the original release didnt support USB at all) and some BIOS's are notorious for very flaky USB.
FWIW my Sandisk USB imagemate CDROM does say Win95 &98 on it.

The ImageMate that I bought last July has a USB connector, which is compatible with Macintosh and PC models which have a USB port. The CD with the ImageMate software contains versions for the Macintosh as well as Windows 97 and 98. Since I use the Mac, I don't know if the ImageMate software would work with Windows 95, but if it doesn't, why not upgrade at least to 98?
