Dorothy, thanks for Briefng notes on airlines. Sounds like they've been reading our column here :)

DAL got an earnings downgrade yesterday which is positive as they can only drive this sector down so much before it takes off.. every pun intended. Oil production increases will benefit the group of course, but one must also look behind the oil/price curtain at each individual carrier's oil futures activities as they play the oil game daily in the pits.

Technology is still king of the hill for attracting capital. If one were to remove all tech companies from the S&P and Russell 2000 one would be presented with a very sorry market. Selling has been going on for some time. Buys in the industrial sector turn out to be a game of trying to capture bounces off lower cycles and must be traded that way in order to win.
