John- I don't understand why there should be volatility? RDP is nothing new.

I agree that RDP is nothing new, but it will always be a possible competitive alternative to ICA. Every time MSFT does an upgrade to it I think that there is a possible impact on CTXS. I don?t actually see this MSFT press release as earth shaking news. Still, it is interesting. MSFT is not only releasing Windows 2000, it is doing timely upgrades to Windows NT (this press release and the one the other day about 25 user print servers that Intel will be the first to sell). Also, (if I read this press release correctly) ?thin-client? Windows-Based Terminal Standard seems to be a method for MSFT to try to leverage Windows CE into thin client terminals. I continue to believe that CTXS has a much broader (and universally appealing) approach to thin client computing.

Disclosure: I am understandably ambivalent about MSFT vs CTXS since I own roughly equal amounts of each company (and that is just about all I own!).
