rapid global development I'm all for modernization and development. What we need is responsible development. Properly done, a modernization plan would allow humans a much greater standard of living, more amenities, and still leave a lot of world undeveloped for animals, plants, and the other inhabitants of earth. We can have it all. I don't think Gore will actually get us there, but he is more likely to move in the right direction than his competition. TP
