I don't know, but I don't like the thought of Bob A. giving up the power just yet. I don't think the market will like it either, although the tracking stock might offset the negative.

It has been like a game of musical chairs at GBLX headquarters for the last 2 months.

By Lisa Levenson

Global Crossing Appoints GlobalCenter's Hindery Chief Executive

Hamilton, Bermuda, March 2 (Bloomberg) -- Global Crossing Ltd., owner of a worldwide voice and data communications network said it appointed Leo Hindery as chief executive, replacing Bob Annunziata, who will remain a director.,/>

Hindery, 52, will retain his position as chief executive of Global Crossing's GlobalCenter Inc. Web-hosting unit, for which Global Crossing intends to issue a tracking stock, the company said.

I'm a longtime stockholder (and lurker) and I'm perplexed too!

David Faber just now on Squawk Box confirming his reports yesterday that there are NO talks currently between GBLX and DT - there may have been in the past, but nothing current and his talks with GBLX execs confirm they are not interested in any mergers of the kind.
