I got filled at $5 13/16 AND at an order at $5 5/8 that I forgot about! I have to remember to call tomorrow to tender the shares. Hope there is no problem about buying today and tendering by Monday, wonder if I'm a shareholder of record by the expiration?

When do you expect a press release regarding the tender, Friday afternoon, Monday afternoon or what? Betcha the price drops a lot after the expiration of the tender, based on the way the stock has moved during the tender (way below the tender offer).

Good luck!

Add National Presto, NPK, to the list of stocks trading at close to cash, with no long-term debt, and still profitable.
NPK closed today at $29.125 with $29.81 per share cash, no debt and about $1.35 in operating profits last year. Loss of a significant percentage of sales to Walmart account for much of the doom in this stock. The lack of imagination of 82 year old Melvin Cohen, Chairman, is another explanation.
