Warning: This sounds like a commercial. I am not affiliated with eSignal or wall street access, I just am majorly jazzed about the service I am enjoying both from my new broker and esignal. I used to pull up island and it crashed all the time. But when all those numbers would flash by it was hard to see a trend, the forest for the trees. With esignal all that changed. You can get signal with a free month's trial at www.esignal.com. I tried it. I liked it. I felt like it paid me back. I kept it. It has rt streaming quotes and rt streaming options chains. It costs around $150/mo, but if you trade with one of the associated brokers you can get big discounts. I figured that if I could get 3/4 more on two contracts per month it pays for it. Some of them even have integrated trading so you right click on the symbol to trade. Also rt charting. You set up your quotes window with the elements you want, PE, 52 wk hi/ lo. I have about six quote windows set up. Yes it has alarms, and RT charting so you can watch the slope of a rising or declining stock. That's how I caught JDSU today. I think it's fabulous. I need good tools to make this work for me. I am really visual, so I love the charts. You can right click for candlesticks, obars, 30 day 60 day, add stoch's, RSI. On the real time charts there is a pull down menu to look at the charts of other securities you are watching. It is amazing how much stocks correlate with QQQ, even if they are trending up on a down naz day you will see a slowing on a naz dip and a rush on a naz surge. I am sure there are a ton of features I am underusing. If I sound like I am selling it, it is because really I am sold on it.

And before I get off of my soapbox, I want to thank whomever it was that recommended Wall St access. These guys answer on the first ring. Their customer service is amazing. If you need to verify a wire transfer or that a fax arrived they are ON TOP OF IT and don't transfer you from desk to desk blaming it on another department like ETURD DID, or like lehman did. I was so pissed at them, that I am willing to pay the difference in brokerage fees. I mean really, if you are trading on somehtng as time sensitive as JDSU was today, do you want to wait on hold? I am never going to complain about $25 fees if it makes me as much as it has been lately. But the site hasn't gone down on the month I've been on. Imagine!

End of testimonial!
