Then AMD releases (you would say leaks) their response and all of a sudden there is the possibility that Intel will release incremental speed grades. Whatever... they sure didn't leave any room for doubt about 1GHz though did they. That is what this is all about for them and that was my point. <I don't remember your being around last Summer but if you were you would have known I dropped the MIA thing as soon as Athlons were available to the public.> I have been lurking for longer than I can put my finger on right now. I would go back and see when exactly you dropped the MIA-thlon crap but in truth it doesn't matter. My point was that your MIA-thlon posts were a sore spot with AMD longs at the time (I know I sure got tired of them) just as some peoples Coppermine allegations are a sore spot with you. There was some truth in your MIA-thlon posts just as there is some truth in peoples Coppermine posts. Coppermine may scale as you claim but that doesn't change the fact that many allegations about the ease with which it will do so are true. Again I say that the fact that Intel has scaled Coppermine to where it is now is much to their credit. Thanks, Epinephrine
