i have yet to see anyone discuss the put/call ratio in the 4 or 5 stocks that hold up the NDX. i think you'll find the number of calls in those issues more than offset the NDX puts. the index is not the whole story.... and those betting on higher prices simply on the basis that everybody thinks its too high may be in for a shock. Denying that the earth is round just cause everybody believes it is round is NOT contrarianism... its called DUMB.
