Re: "Who knows-someone does-it's not me."

No one knows. It's near impossible to know for sure. But IMO the time was ripe for Dell to rebound and all those shorts realized it was getting too risky to hold those millions of shares near the bottom. They no doubt looked at RMBS, INTC, MSFT etc. and did not want to bet against Dell with all that wind at it's back?

It seemed to me that allot of huge volume was being absorbed at the bid past two days. Perhaps institutions started nibbling and the shorts just threw the towel in?

I don't want to get too sure because I'm truly more nervous now but Tom Dorsey on CNBC two days ago answered a caller's question about Dell by saying: "It's starting to look very interesting. But don't forget resistance at 44 if it breaks that it should be clear sailing up to 54" He has been fairly correct with Dell past 1 1/2 years so I'm hoping?

Just hope it continues? It didn't seem like a rush to get into Dell it seemed more like a battle between shorts and the institutions?

>>>I'm just what I said back when I told everyone to buy at 38.25 with damn little appreciation! -I am long and strong at this moment.<<<

O. Trader... I've been following this thread for a couple of years and have always enjoyed your posts and appreciate your experience and calls regarding the stock. I also like that you back up your position with, like, millions of shares of DELL stock... I haven't really had occasion to take any action on your advice though because I've been holding my DELL for a number of years and will continue to do so... I have a question for you... From what I've gathered from your past posts you've parlayed $2 million into $50 million (give or take 10 million...:-) starting 5 or 6 years ago and have stated that you don't believe in diversification... i.e. you have all of your eggs in DELL's basket... My question is how much longer will you pursue this kind of strategy? Are you planning to hold on to DELL for the next 10 - 15 years or do you have a date or monetary target in mind to sell?

Thanks
