FYI, it appears the new LWNTF board member is quite well regarded. From today's NY Times: Adobe Systems' former chief financial officer Harold Covert has taken the same position at Red Hat, the latest in a series of new executive hires at the Linux software and services company. Covert, credited for revitalizing Adobe, left last week, the company said. At Red Hat, he replaced Manoj George, who had been Red Hat's CFO and treasurer since May 1998. George will now focus on the company's merger and acquisition efforts, a spokesman said.
