So in order to be successful, your strategy would depend not only upon someone selling you the stock cheaply (to start your position), but for someone else to be ready to buy the stock from you "a few weeks or months" later at a substantially higher price?

Where do these other people get their money from, and what assurances do you have that they'll always be around?
