I have seen the same things done to other stocks such as PMCS, RFMD, PWAV, etc.in recent past. Take a look at where they are now.

Traders of the high flyers, as a whole, are less concerned about fundamentals. Thus they are also extremely susceptible to rumors and panic. Logic and reason will return in due time - they always have.
