Only one problem with that logic Baldy ... it's logical! And the market has shown us it is not only illogical but irrational and exuberant!

I can easily seeing the market keeping at least a 40 billion market cap on PALM, but then again, what do I know ... I am still holding my COMS options .... OUCH!

I guess I mixed up the logical with the irrational somewhere along the line!

if at 95 bucks, the market cap of all PALM is 53 billion, then I think PALM in 6 months will definitely trade less than 40 bucks ... like a 23 billion market cap ...

There's nothing wrong with your logic. The result you give (PALM trading below 40) depends on the hottest IPO ever cooling off to its "intrinsic" value over the next six months. In view of the market caps of the other "hot" techs, even those without earnings, I don't see that happening.
