NITE is a direct beneficiary but EGRP benefits as well. Payment for flow is one example. There is a very close relationship between these companies as I am sure you know. Last Friday I tried to buy an OTC BB stock with a market order. It would not fill. There was still an hour left in the day so I called E*Trade and asked them to go directly to their market maker and get my order filled. It never filled. Why? E*Trade said that the foreign market maker refused to part with the shares. Did that happen? Perhaps. Now one week later the stock that I should have bought at 1 1/8 now trades over $2. I ended up putting my money in something NITE does make a market in. Once again both companies benefited. Looks like most of the Online Brokerage Stocks are opening higher:
