Did you know that PALM........Not content to rely on computer sales
alone, Palm believes the licensing fees it
collects from manufacturers who use the
Palm operating system to run wireless
hand-held computers, mobile phones
and other gadgets will provide within
two years more cash than the company
collects from Palm sales.

Meanwhile, Palm has joined forces with
mobile-phone giants Nokia Corp. and
Motorola to make large-screen
handheld computers capable of
connecting to wireless phones, CEO
Yankowski said. He thinks the
large-screen model will prove popular,
but that the market will have room for
different versions, too.
