Mihaela, Re: Micron expects to begin shipping Rambus parts in volume in the second quarter of this year.

Great. Is this new news or am I just behind?

Thanks for posting. dmf

Mihaela:
Hyundai's Tabrizi predicted Rambus would make up 5 to 8 percent of the DRAM market in 2000, reaching about 25 percent by 2002.
I don't have a specific quote but Tabrizi is a RDRAM naysayer who previous claims were single digit shares for RDRAM in 2002.
So if the anti-RDRAM clan is claiming 25% in 2002, the real number is going to be higher.

Also, I would have to believe we are consolidating at 280-290 for a few days before going up. We are doing a 10% back 20% forward pattern. I know not what controls the start of these upwards moves but Micron is getting closer to their self imposed date for producing RDRAM.
