El, I seem to remember him saying that he was comfortable with the annual estimates, but I don't remember any specific statements about any quarterly info.

these same guys thought CPQ would miss in 3Q... why believe them now?

edit - I can't believe the bunch of comments treating this analyst's view of earnings like it was fact. We KNOW that there is likely no data being released to analysts by the company, and the quarter has another month to run. Maybe investors believe the forward stock projections but don't believe the earnings estimate - I know I don't. This guy is just another SWAG artist. What did he base his projection on? The huge gains in Latin America? The double anticipated sales rate on iPaq? Hard to see where he would find a 25% miss based on what I see.
