And only 4 800Mhz Piii listings on Pricewatch as of this post.

If you actually go to the web sites of the companies listed (I did yesterday), only 1 of the 4 has the P3-800 listed in their list of CPUs.

It would be interesting to actually call the one that has it listed.

Most of these sites sell OEM versions. This web site:

necxdirect.necx.com

sells only Retail versions, and they always had a full selection of Intel CPUs. That was back when Intel was the leader. Now they don't have anything in stock.

Try a current page at Dell and not an old page. You can buy TODAY a Dell PC with an 800MHz PIII :

And soon you can buy a 1GHz PIII system from Dell or HP.
