Yeah, the buck in earnings is so lame--
I'd put that in my email, although it
was really more of a mean dig (they
sold it for a song before genomics was
the buzz word).

Manic--a bit perhaps, although you would
not know it if you met me in person. I
throw it all into these messages--easy
to be overstimulated by the action in
the stock market these past few weeks,
I've made more in three weeks than from
five years of salary. And great fun watching
the S&P futures light up this morning, Vegas
has nothing on Wall Street. You know, the
CNBC show would be even more entertaining if
they served cocktails to the personalities,
and then it would be just like Vegas. And
lots of smoke too--and the oldersters at home
with their mice instead of the slot arms.

There is a purpose to all of this however--
we all intend to do something with the money.
I am here merely to get the output from my
Quattro spreadsheet up to the point where I
can replace my job with interest income.
After that, maybe back to school, or maybe
start my own weather foreasting e-company,
who knows? I even play with the idea of a
little farm and Yurt--and a minimal consumption
lifestyle, the simplicity thing...but that might
be a hard life with the baby.

I am essentially where I need to be now--but
not quite ready to take money off the table,
instead I'm diversifying out of biotech slowly.
Maybe by May I'll go half cash again. If my
tendency to sell too early persists, I'll be
half cash before the Dow recovers to 12k for
a good margin of safety.
