Eric,

What OS will Sledgehammer run in 64 bit mode?

Your memory is failing you. I said that SledgeHammer will be a successful chip even without a 64 bit native OS. Sledgehammer is the next generation chip that will eventually make it to desktops and workstations. One day, it may have a native OS - Windows 2000, Linux.

What OS did 386 or even 486 run in 32 bit mode?

Speaking of memory, it should be important to you as an Intel investor. Because the glory days of Intel are slowly fading to memory.

Joe
