I re-read the DDI article. It looks to me like PDC subs declined more than expected. CDMA subs appear on track. PDC is digital, BTW.

Any slump Sprint PCS might see is seasonal and was anticipated. I have not heard this from PCS employees I know. This is what IMJ meant in the warning. Knowing his conservative nature i seriously doubt Q will miss a number. I work with (not for) a major CDMA carrier and their business in gangbuster the best 1st QTR ever. Consumers are trading in phones faster and faster where they were keeping them 1-2 years before.The industry hates these "upgrades" and subsidy cost are eating them alive. This is good for Q Not to worry, manufacturers will begin to stock ASIC's for 4th QTR. builds. Q may not have a blowout for this QTR but I think a rosy picture will be painted for next QTR.
