I just kicked the margin habit for a while myself. Actually have a bit of cash in the account. My thesis is that stocks like SONE, ELON, BLSI, and WM (contrarian bank pick)will perform pretty well in a crashing market. All can be hedged with options except for BLSI. I'm selling most other things and switching to little scalps with sold puts. But I'll hold the above shares.

You could try that with SONE. Why waste your research? Next time you see a dip, sell some puts, perhaps.
