JungleInvestor,
Yep, their order room went down, must have been mayhem.
They are doing OK since, fingers crossed.

A lot of Oilpatch positions unwound today - with potential OPEC news -

...over the weekend.

Seeing some speculative money take profits and not risk what OPEC could do/say over the weekend...

Curious to see what a real nice fat API drawdown will do tuesday ?

I owned 3Com for a while back at $22ish sold it for $2 profit - now 3 Com spins off Palm - and Palm is worth more than 3 COM's market cap ?

... this is a legal Ponzi scheme going on in the NASDQ - as long as money keeps flowing in - money managers all - have this "wink & a nod" game going on that they will just keep throwing money at the same companies... Their bonuses are phenomenal in this environment - they are "working their pay plans" - literally all over the street this "Ponzi scheme" environment exists.

Hell - how many times on CNBC are ALL the pundits talking about the same damn tech names ?

This is going to ultimately end very badly for many people. These money managers are not even worrying about risk - it's a circle jerk game - where they have to chase the returns and compete with each other - and the only way they can do that - is to own the same damn names...

NASDQ 5000 is near criminal. We could see a Longterm Capital type of Global Market Crash when this unwinds - how much money would be lost on paper and via margin call with a re-trace to NASDQ 3000 - which chart & fundamentals wise - is still nearly over bought ?

How people are NOT running with their money here defies me...?

Greed and the double your money in 30 days mentality has literally taken over. These people have lost all focus on their fiduciary responsibility to their customers.

They are NOT betting with THEIR money - that is the problem here... The bonus checks are soooooo big; 2 years of this and they can walk away for life - who cares if they get caught in the biggest crash of alltime - they've probably got their personal money in gold & T Bills (VBG)...
