To all: I think I know why EMC has struggled as of late..

A broker friend of mine just called....apparently, a week ago, David Tice, he of the Prudent Bear Fund, mentioned EMC in one of his newsletters....my friend didn't give me details, but I'm sure (Tice's) comments revolve around the accounting for the DG acquisition...his speciality...

If this is the case, EMC needs to address this, publicly....however, they should not go to the extent Tyco did...ie, call in the SEC....which has frozen the stock....but they need to get this issue out of the way, and quickly...

If true, it would explain a lot about the last trading days....Tice has a good amount of influence as of late..(even though he is a terrible money manager)...funds tend to shy away from stocks he attacks...
