Hi duckster - I heard of that too here, but the substance is so weak that only traders would want to buy it. Prism has a big advantage over the others, maybe even COVD, because one doesn't have to wait for 7 - 14 days for connection. Also, with the sale of CDO MF leasing to IBM, CDO has the deep pocket to finance the initial phase of the buildout.

Personally, since I am an investor and not trader, I don't care much about fly by night rumor. Spinoff or no spinoff, tracking stock or not tracking stock, CDO is a severely undervalued growth stock in the hottest sectors of the net/biotech revolution, a prematured sellout is like robbing investors like myself a great core holding

Case in point, two months ago, I ve identified a very misunderstood co, SWW, with similar characteristics of CDO. Both of them got associated with the heritage, but they have transformed themselves into the new economy contenders. I bought at 30. I fully expected it to be a 50 stock in 6 - 12 mos. Then, CA came in and bought the co on the cheap. Granted that I made 20% into 3 weeks [sold @36] isn't too bad, by any account, but, with the strength of the tech sector now, I could have doubled my money. Therefore, takeover isn't what crack up to be, especially with severely undervalued growth stocks like CDO!

best, Bosco

John, thank you again. Your input is invaluable. I know all about wcom's stock decline, sharing the pain of watching it drop.

I'm going to do some research on the comps to prism, and determine a realistic price expectation of prism. Good luck and thank you. advalorem
