EQS.X Equess Communications Inc. 14:00 EST Friday, March 3, 2000 CALGARY, March 3 /CNW/ - Equess Communications Inc. (ASE:EQS) announced the closing of a private placement under exemption 107(1)(D), raising a total of $100,000. The Corporation will issue a total of 900 convertible preferred shares at a total sum of $90,000 and convertible debentures at a principal amount of $10,000. The preferred shares have a conversion right on the basis of 10 common shares for each preferred share. A total of 19,000 common shares have been reserved for this purpose. The Corporation is not aware of any further current material changes which have not been publicly disclosed.
