to be frank...i ignore splits...i believe they have nothing at all to do with fundamentals.

I am currently examining PANL, which has patents on organic light emitted diodes and is prepared to storm the small, full-color display market.

Has anyone looked at this? Is it a threat to CREE?

Lots of rumors from folks that supposedly live near the CREE site that employees are talking of impending split activity (3-1 mentioned a fair amount). Of course this is all rumors and has to be treated as such. I suggest going back and reviewing CREE previous split history as well.
