John: Reminds me slightly of Microsoft buying Fox software for Foxpro's database engine back about 10 years ago when MSFT had no credible database technology in house. I guess HUM was tired of paying for the scanning engine software and decided to buy the company. I can't see how this wouldn't help margins on PCDOCS software. Do you know if any of HUM's document management software competitors use Diamond Head's scanning engine. They might find themselves without scanning software supplier in the future. john
