Briand,

I did a calculation of the market value of the stock DK bought through options exercise, and I came up with $33MM. I think the number in the news story was garbled. According to the definitive proxy, DK exercised options on 846,000 shares. Assuming a market price (not an exercise price) of $39 per share that comes to $32.994 MM.

CTC

Not a reverse collar, but a bet TYC is at least 52% better, due to tax bracket considerations I would think. Anyway, it ought to hit $45, and then $50 in short order at this rate. And the good news is, CEO K is not selling, whether he is buying, paying an option price, exercising from or to 401K plans and Trusts etc, the key is, he ain't selling. He ought to know the company is going up better than most. $139 Million Dollars into TYCO the Cash Tycoon (TYC) is just plain good news, and more is sure to come from this, obviously.
