There was an article a few years ago, I believe in the New Republic, perhaps the Washington Post, about how it was common for politicians to get overloaded and overtired when doing the circuit, and so common for them to flub sentences. Republicans and Democrats both do it, and it is dopey and a bit mean to jump on every little thing.........
