I sold a little APA on its strong finish at 38. Still raising cash (now 30% cash). I could easily be wrong. But as I said in my last post, I'm in a profit protective mode. I went almost full margin in main account near last bottom. Now have more $ than I will ever need. Need to concentrate on more important things like getting my bench press back up to 250#. You probably have heard the stories about even the shoe shine boys giving stock advice before the crash of Oct. '29. Well I haven't had my shoes shined lately. But on recent visit to my barber, an old childhood friend, he gave me some advice. In a small way he's done extremely well on stocks like PLUG the fuel cell wonder. I think I'll get more haircuts. (VBG) Just stuck my toe in the tech pond. Instead of selling some of my RO IRA FSESX as I normally have done near what I believe to be highs, I decided to exchange for some FSPTX (Fidelity select tech fund). It was up 5% today. I have nothing against making money on tulips. (G) Take care all. Winkman OT PS: diana g has again demonstrated her assertiveness and wisdom. In balance she pointed out the Slider has been better lately and does certainly contribute a lot to this board. It is nice to see him getting along relatively well with BigBull and JPQ, two other valuable contributors. Slider's Old Style induced baseball nostalgia served to humanize him considerably. IMHO he is doing quite well for an illegitimate, abandoned son of one PfcK. (VVBG)
