Scot, I wouldn't underestimate it if I were you. A friend of mine here was asking me for advice on new computers. Knowing that she would only want to use her computer for web surfing, MS Office, and MP3, I suggested a Celeron-based PC for her. Yet she was pretty determined to buy only a Pentium PC. "I want a Pentium!" I remember her saying in an excited voice.

By the way, she works for Nike, another company which has make truckloads of money on their brand name alone. (Though I'm sure Nike is more recognizable than Pentium.)
