Actually the close is more important than intraday swings

Of course it is, which is why your triple-bottom of 21 formed on Feb 9th (closing price 24), and Feb 29th (closing price 22), is so gosh darn meaningful.

And don't forget the huge volume, I make it, what, 16000 shares traded in that last upswing? No way that could be someone painting the tape on a thinly traded stock, unh unh.

I do not think that GUMM is a good sell short and hold stock.
