Something tells me the divergence between PALM/COMS will be resolved very soon:

CHICAGO -(Dow Jones)- Options in Palm Inc. (PALM) will begin trading March 16 on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange.

In a press release Friday, the exchange said designated primary market maker, expiration cycle and strike prices will be announced later.

A spokeswoman for the exchange said the symbol Palm will trade under hasn't yet been determined.

Palm Inc., Santa Clara, Calif., provides hand-held computing devices.

Hi, Moonray!

I'm here sniffing around the COMS-PA 'divergence' which Jim Wolf mentioned on E!'s Group Therapy thread (to see if I can ease the pain of an early exit from LSI :-0). It looks as though the opportunity has already eroded considerably.

What's your take after today's little correction?

Hope Mr. Market's been kind to you.

Regards,
Wolf

PALM 68 3/8 + 5.25
COMS 71 3/8 + 1 13/16

What am I missing? COMS basis in PALM is over $100. PALM is "shortable" today. What on earth is behind this disparity? It can't be market ineffiency - there are simply too many dollars at stake. Are the arbs on vacation?

I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!
