How many times have I read this very thread ridicule the Rambus concept from top to bottom.>

Eric,

I don't deny the fact that this thread has, at times even extensively, ridiculed Rambus but this thread does not speak for AMD and several AMD representatives have said that AMD may investigate using Rambus when it becomes appropriate to do so. Dirk Meyer himself was one of these individuals. I am not making any claims one way or the other as to whether I think that AMD will ever use Rambus, just clarifying that AMD has never ruled it out.

You are reading the wrong posts. There has been a lot of good discussion here on Rambus. I don't think many here dispute that Rambus is technically a good solution, the issues are, as is often the case, with the price/performance, particularly when compared with fast DDR memory.

And, irrespective of what may be posted on this thread, AMD have been planning on having Rambus motherboards for some time. They have no reason not to cover all the bases.

This is not the Borg, unlike some other threads. There is no "collective conciousness" here.
