Phase 1 and 2 provide little advantage over today's 9.6 Kbps circuit-switched services for applications that require sending significant information from the mobile computer.

So, in the context of current 9.6Kbps circuit switched services, you see 'little advantage' in a quadrupling of the
forward link speed.

curious.

Scott,

You might want to double check the batteries in your calculator... it wasn't made with a MOT "1X plus" ASIC chip was it?

(57.6 x 2) = 57.6 + 57.6 = 115.2 (even accounting for outcome based education....)
