Unfortunately (for the sake of this indicator), they are still posting like crazy on the All Clowns Must Be Destroyed thread.. It looks like the Myth thread has largely been abandoned.

Mike regarding "when messages get sparse", I'm wondering if there's also a correlation in WSJ and Barrons circulation stats since, say, the miraculous recovery from the crash of '98. I wonder how many others cancelled their New Era WSJ and watered down Barrons subscriptions in protest (New Era Value Line deserves note as well :-)

I still have PBS Frontline's "The Crash of '98" on tape. Maybe it'll be worth something on Antiques Road Show, along with taped episodes of Wall Street Week containing bears :-)
