Dear Kevin: Two comments regarding your post. 1. The internet IMHO is EVEN BIGGER then the examples you list. I think it is akin to the INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION where much of the wealthier countries switched from an agrarian to a manufacturing economy. Its the printing press, phones, wire, pony express, clipper ships, all rolled into ONE. It is an event that is and will change the lives of every person on this planet. 2. Regarding EMC, Mike R. is known as the top Marine and having been in the Marines I can understand what that means. He demands PERFORMANCE from especially the sales team. Those who perform and are loyal (another biggie) are very well rewarded, those who dont get the boot. Your comments though seem to have some merit regarding the confusion and if you are not employed by EMC now, or maybe even if you are, you ought to consider sending a private mail to Mike with your comments on the confusion.
